The “Focus” magazine presents the annual traditional art project. The animated ballad “Prichinnaya” based on the eponymous poem of Taras Shevchenko, was represent in Ukraine for the first time. The premier of the film was held with the support of the “Galerie Les Noms” on July 15, 6:30 pm at the “Oscar” cinema (“Gulliver” shopping mall).

In Galerie Les Noms we were in the process of preparing the exhibition of paintings for the presentation. With the creative team we were select original sketches of particular episodes from the film. Our creative team: The film's director Andrei Shcherbak, the film's composer Tatyana Shamshtudinova, the film-maker Olga Beskhmelnitsyna, the artistic director Elena Kesavina, the art curator Oksana Tsybka.

This directorial debut of the talented painter Andrey Sherbakov will tell you the story of the Ukrainian Romeo and Juliet. The main idea of the drama is love, which overcomes the separation, war and death. The unique animation, music improvisation, inspirational painting, Taras Shevchenko poetry and deep folk traditions in modern interpretation will not let anyone remain indifferent.

We wanted to present for the audience the art, which makes excited. Current art project tells us about the inmost hopes and true values in opposition to vanity and life fragility. This film is a harmonious combination of the modern and eternal in the Ukrainians nation life”, - says Tatiana Larina, “Focus Media” commercial director.

During the last five years, the “Focus” magazine takes part in art projects, which can attract the audience attention to the national cultural space and its new main figures. For the modern Ukraine, art is a form of a deep knowledge of its national cultural wealth and diversity. It is also the path of saving the art DNA of our nation, creation and promotion of the modern Ukraine cultural brand. This is why it is hard to overestimate the “Focus” magazine art project, which combines painting, poetry, movies and fashion”, - says the art-curator the project Oksana Tsybka.

The evening program includes the exhibition of paintings, movie frames and illustrations, live music and meeting with the art project team. During the project presentation, you will also enjoy the designer show based on the film image by the Ukrainian brand “Foberini”. This brand recreates the ancient national embroidery and incarnates the old Slavic traditional female clothe in a new stylish and exquisite design.
